Prof. Dr. Fabian Theis

Fabian Theis is Chair for Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems at the Department of Mathematics of the Technical University Munich and Director of the Institute of Computational Biology at the Helmholtz Munich. He has a long-standing interest in Computational Biology, with specific expertise in machine learning in the context of complex biological data. This expertise will be leveraged in the proposed project to inform about morphological retinal changes and clinical endpoints for future retinal gene therapy trials.
